Franz Kafka is one of the most acclaimed and influential writers of the twentieth century. He is famous for his visionary and enigmatic stories that draw a grotesque vision of the world we live in. His nightmarishly complex, bizarre and impersonal stories are so unique that his name inspired an adjective - Kafkaesque.
